Colonel Irakli Shaishmelashvili, a high-ranking official of the Department of Special Tasks of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has resigned. He held the position of head of the operational planning division of the Special Tasks Department. He has already applied to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri, with the request to be dismissed.
