Today is a lioness

The feast of the lioness in Dusheti district is celebrated every year on the 7th week of Easter. The pilgrims believe that St. George's Church of Lomisi has distinctive force. They pray for a domestic animal, mostly sacrificed sheep, and believe that the request that they go to the temple is fulfilled. It belongs to the IX-X centuries. It was thought that the Lomisa was originally a cult temple. Many economic, political and military issues were also resolved here.
