From the first of December to the first of March, it is mandatory to drive vehicles with winter tires on certain sections of the road. The regulation applies to both international and domestic roads of national importance. According to the regulation, the violator will be fined 100 GEL, and the number of points assigned to the driver's license will be reduced by five points. The law regarding the mandatory use of winter tires came into effect on December 1 last year.
