Tbilisi City Council MP Zviad Kuprava was sentenced to custody

 Zviad Kuprava Tbilisi City Court has sentenced Tbilisi City Council MP from the United National Movement as a preventive measure. The court upheld the prosecution's motion. The State Security Service arrested Zviad Kuprava on October 1. He is accused of calling for the overthrow of the state government and resisting the government, which envisages up to six years in prison.
