Parliament supported the draft resolution on the creation of the Friendship Groups of the Parliament of Georgia with 79 votes. According to Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, the groups of friendship with the Parliaments of the States will be established in the Parliament of Georgia. The adoption of the resolution is driven by Article 190 of the Parliamentary Rules of Parliament, which provides for regular relations with the Parliaments of other States to establish friendship groups in parliament.
