Nikoloz Samkharadze met the Italian ambassador

The Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze, met with the Italian Ambassador to Georgia, Massimiliano D'Antuono. The parties discussed bilateral parliamentary relations and other important issues on the agenda of cooperation. The main topics of the conversation were the parliamentary elections scheduled for October 26, the pre-election environment, the progress of the election campaign and the election program of the government. The parties also discussed the security environment of Georgia and Europe in general, the difficult situation and challenges in the occupied regions of Georgia.
