In connection with the day of mourning, the state flag was lowered over the palace of the President of Georgia. According to the decree of the Government of Georgia, January 9 was declared a day of mourning in memory of those who died as a result of the fire in the village of Saberio, Gali district, in the territory of occupied Abkhazia.
