In connection with the day of mourning, state flags are allowed on all administrative buildings of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

According to the decree of the government, January 9, 2025 was declared a day of mourning in Georgia in memory of those killed in a fire in the village of Saberio, Gali district, in the occupied Abkhazian territory. The fire killed 5 children.
