In connection with the Christmas holiday, solemn religious services were held in all penitentiary institutions

Convicts celebrated the glorious Christmas of Christ with a traditional service and prayer. Solemn liturgy was celebrated in all functioning churches and chapels of the penitentiary institutions. The juvenile convicts in the penitentiary institutions were given candles, sweets and various gifts from the Patriarchate of Georgia.
