In August, inflation was maintained in the eurozone at 2%

According to the final data of the EU Statistical Service, Eurostat, consumer prices in the eurozone increased by 2%compared to the previous year in August. Thus, inflation was maintained at the July level. The preliminary forecast was a 2.1%increase in prices. The forecast of analysts surveyed by Trading Economics did not take into account the revision of the assessment.
