Famous Georgian sculptor Zurab Tsereteli died

Famous Georgian sculptor and artist Zurab Tsereteli died at the age of 91. The information is released by Russian Media Tsereteli's assistant, Sergei Shagulashvili. In 1958 he graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts Painting. In 1979 he became a public artist of Georgia. In 1980 Tsereteli was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Soviet Union. In 2002 he became an honorary citizen of Tbilisi. Tsereteli has been working in Russia lately.
