Construction of a new bridge will be completed at the entrance of the city of Mtskheta, on the river Mtkvari

A new bridge is being built next to the bridge on the river Mtkvari in Mtskheta. The construction project is implemented by the Roads Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure. At the 6th km of the Narek-Mtskheta-Mtskheta-Mtskheta station, the current bridge on the Mtkvari River was built in 1926. The technical condition of the old bridge could no longer meet modern loads.
