British government plans to reduce voting ages under 16
The UK government plans to reduce the age of 16 voting. The BBC reports. The initiative belongs to the country's prime minister, Kir Starmer. Starmer believes that if citizens under 16 years of age have the right to work and taxes, it means that they should also have the right to decide how to spend money and in what direction the government is going to spend 18 years in the UK. The Prime Minister's initiative was endorsed by the younger generation. The election change was to be approved by the British Parliament.
