The amendments to the Law on Higher Education are discussed by the third reading of the Parliamentary Committee today. The changes are about the restoration of the teaching of Georgian language in higher education institutions. Since then, the Georgian language has been on the list of compulsory subjects only at the faculties of humanitarians, and since October 2025, the teaching of Georgian language will still be compulsory.
