According to the government's decree, more than 2 million GEL was allocated to Imereti for disaster relief

The strong wind damaged the roofs of multi-storey and private houses in the Imereti region. According to the decree of the Government of Georgia, more than 2 million GEL was allocated from the budget for disaster relief. The money will be used to restore damaged infrastructure in the municipalities of Samtredia, Sachkheri, Tskaltubo, Tkibuli, Khoni, Terjoli, Baghdati and Van. Representatives of the local government met with the residents regarding the restoration works.
